Hello!

I’m Katie and I am the girl behind the camera. For as long as I can remember I have adored baking, eating and taking photographs of yummy food so it made sense to put these three things together to create a little bit of magic.

Equipment: I have a large range of equipment that I get asked about a lot on social media so I have a Canon 6d Mark ii and a range of lenses but my favourite lens is my 50mm 1.4 USM. I also use this tripod which I love as it has a 3-way head that allows me a range of perspectives. I’ve used cheaper tripods that have worked for me when I was first starting out but have found that the sooner I invested in a solid tripod, the better it was for me and my images.

Backdrops: I use a range of backdrops but I mainly make my own. If I am using a vinyl backdrop I use this nifty stand to hold up my backdrops which I love and if I am using a mdf backdrop then I use this stand.

Props: I get asked a lot where I get my props from and most of them come from vintage stores and charity shops but also a lot come from Zara, H&M, Wilbur and Wolf and Silver Mushroom (with whom I work with a lot, I have a 5% discount off the whole site here (not an aff link) - HUMBLEPESC5)

Food/Product Photography & Styling: I have produced content for magazines, websites, social media accounts and small businesses. All work has a ‘natural-light’ freshness to it and I would love to be able to produce imagery for your beautiful recipes or publication. I can provide a range of professional photographic imagery for editorial and print, to restaurants, hotels and many other foodie related services. If working from home, I have my own studio space, a wonderful prop selection and edit using Lightroom and Photoshop but am more than happy to travel wherever the food takes me.
